Cartesian Networks (2020-Present)

By combining textual and network analysis of early modern letters, I study how the ideas of the father of modern philosophy René Descartes spread throughout 17th-century Europe.

Lost in the Labyrinth: Giordano Bruno and the Quest for Infinity (2015-Present)

In using the tools of mathematics to understand infinity, Bruno encountered a number of obstacles, which doomed his efforts to failure. This project analyzes the reasons of such failure and how they relate to Bruno’s biography.
