In my research, I follow my curiosity and intuition. Below you can find an outline of my two research projects. Taken together, they offer a blueprint of my career so far.

Lost in the Labyrinth: Giordano Bruno and the Quest for Infinity (2022-Present)

In using the tools of mathematics to understand infinity, Bruno encountered a number of obstacles, which doomed his efforts to failure. This project analyzes the reasons of such failure and how they relate to Bruno’s biography. 

Cartesian Networks (2020-2022)

By combining textual and network analysis of early modern letters, I study how the ideas of the father of modern philosophy René Descartes spread throughout 17th-century Europe.
